Kapalua Cattery was established in 1983 after acquiring foundation queen, CH Pargon's Angelfire Miss of Kapalua, from Billie DeCandido in Portland, Oregon in October,1982. Kapalua's first litter was born May 18, 1984 - two males and two females. One of these males is GC, BW, RW Kapalua Touch of Class, DM, who became a grand champion at 10 months. 'Classy' has produced 21 grands including GC, BW NW Heirbourne's Winds Aloft - 23rd Best Cat 1992 and GC, BW NW Kapalua Rothschilde - 21st Best Cat 1998. Rothschilde and his son, Reignmaker, are the only adult male Havana Browns to garner National Wins. 'Classy' has also sired three Distinguished Merit females; GC Bundash's Classic Lady of Kapalua, DM; GC Bundash's Classic Dusty Rose, DM; and GC RW Bundash's Jane Eyre, DM. All are sisters!

Kapalua Cattery has produced many Grand Champions, Grand Premiers and Regional Winners over the years and is actively breeding show quality Havana Browns. Kapalua Cattery exhibits exclusively in The Cat Fanciers' Association and has produced CFA's Best or 2nd Best of Breed in the following years: 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. In 1991 and 1992, the Best of Breed was produced from Kapalua parents.

• GP RW Kapalua Belmondo Robusto of Adastra, 16th Best Cat in Premiership - North Atlantic Region

Kitten:

• RW CH Kapalua Reignmaker, 20th Best Kitten - Northwest Region and became a 'Baby Grand' at age 8 months in May 2000.

Kapalua sometimes may have a pet available or a retired show cat available for a loving companion home.
